new moons
“Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed.” – Psalm 81:3
What is the new moon?
The New Moon marks the beginning of each biblical month and is a time of thanksgiving and joy. As commanded in Scripture, we gather to acknowledge the Creator’s divine calendar and the renewal of time.
How we celebrate
We follow the full moon as the sign of the new month, according to the understanding revealed in the Scriptures. Our New Moon gatherings include prayer, lessons, music, and fellowship meals—celebrating the renewal and mercy of the Most High.
